How To Add Content to DAZ Studio 4 Pro

To add content to DAZ Studio 4 Pro, please take a look to the following steps :

I'll also mention zipped Poser content and native DAZ Studio content.

Set Up
Most of the content you will find in the DAZ store and on other websites is in Poser, rather than DAZ Studio, format. If you allowed DAZ Studio to search for content when you installed it you should already have the Content folder in the DAZ Studio application folder selected as a Poser content directory: if you didn't, or if you want to keep the files elsewhere (they can amount to a lot of data in a short time) you need to go to Edit>Preferences>Directories tab.

Click the button at the top that currently reads DAZ Studio content directories and pick Poser content directories from the list.

System Requirement to Run DAZ Studio

DAZ Studio System Requirement: Windows

There is a My Computer icon in Windows XP, just right click it. (If you can't find it, Click 'Start' button and it will be there.) Click Properties in the menu pop-up. It will show a Control Panel that indicates your PC OS version and type, your PC CPU speed (normally in MHz), and build-in memory capacity (RAM) in MB.

When you want to check the available sizes of your hard disk, fire-up My Computer icon and right click it from Hard Disk icon and select Properties.

If you can run DAZ Studio, it will show you  your video hardware from DAZ Studio's menu Help>About Your Video Card. You can easily to find the Video manufacturer, model, driver version, and which GL graphics capabilities it has.

DAZ Studio Advanced Review

Adding meta-data to loose files in DAZ Studio is quite easy, if you have a lot of them, and with proper categories included, it can become hard to find between two dozen tops and another two dozen pants just to find the result to form a matching outfit. This is the Products view of the My Stuff panel.

To generate meta-data for your product - or to create a continue-product from a set of artworks you want to group together - find a directory including some of the product's libraries in the Content Library tab, open the context menu herein, and select "Create a Product...". A small tab will pop-up, notify you for a name, and then "OK" to confirm. A new product directory then created in the related sub-folder in the "Products" directory.

P.S.: You need to select the content of the regular directory before product creation - I determinate it was not a must, but when I take a screen capture, the product directory was empty at the end.
